It can be a challenge moving from an associate level to managerial level because the organization is flat.

It feels like a haunted house built in the 60's. The ways of operating are so archaic. They draw you in with illusions, talk about diversity, equity and inclusion yet no one can hear you scream. The laggards who have been there for years roam around making sure that nothing changes and stays the same. IT and InfoSec are the axe murderer in the cupboard ready to cut off a limb and prevent you doing anything productive. If your lucky to escape with your mental health intact you eill be one of the few. The rest just become part of the furniture in the ghost shell that remains.
