1) Small company. There's zero opportunity for lateral move or upward mobility. 2) NO work-life balance. Do you enjoy being on conference calls as early as 6AM, as late as 10PM, or sometimes both? Do you enjoy always be 'ON' all the times ? Do you want to feel obligated to install emails and Teams on your phone, so you literally don't have an off-line time? Or, do you like to feel like a "big fish" in a small pond? If your answer is YES, then you will love this place. 3) "HR" is a joke. Keep in mind that HR is not human resource - it's company resource. 4) Last but not least, you have an incompetent micro-manager breathing down your neck and looking over your shoulder. This person is emotionally volatile, hostile, loud, and will make your life miserable if you don't bow down to their demands. It's mind-boggling to me that HQ just ignores this big of a liability.

The business revolves around investing but they do not invest in their employees. Stressful environment with poor direction. Management can be rude and arrogant (mainly middle management). They pretend to work while playing gatekeeper to those who do actually work. They either micromanage or ghost you with no inbetween. HR is unhelpful in resolving issues. No opportunities to advance.
