Pros

-Good pay for a regional -Great flight benefits -Short Flights -No red-eyes -Seniority moves up quickly since most people’s end game is to go to mainline -Pretty easy to get the days off that I want -Pretty decent contract for FAs -Commuter hotels -Great commuter clause -No more 140s/145s so no more being the solo FA and having to do all of the work -Just you and another FA. No having to work with up to 10 FAs at a time -Management and union is on it when it comes to any concerns that you have and takes the time to get to know you.

Cons

-Some trips are 5 leg days. It’s typical for a regional, but it can make the day stressful and make you feel like you’re doing double the work and paid for half the time. - Reserve system kind of sucks. It would help if reserves could self assign their trips instead of waiting for crew scheduling to assign it by least time accrued. It would be great for people who commute, and those that ar impatient waiting for a line, since airport standby shifts are 8hrs long, and you’re only getting paid for 3.45hrs. Other than that, I have no other complaints other than typical regional things.

Pros

I’m a 16 year FA based in BOS & ORD , it’s a great company . A subsidiary wholly owned by American Airlines. Benefits, 401k match, Medical, Dental, vacation accrual. Reserve for a year , then when you get a line (schedule) you usually don’t go back on reserve like other companies . Once your off , your off reserve as long as you can hold it . Friendly , happy employees . / start pay $18.00 or so plus perdiem. Good overnights . Regional Jets ERJ 140/145 , CRJ700 with 9 first class seats , ERJ175 with 12 first class seats.

Cons

Be aware there can be weather delays and broken airplanes that drives passengers crazy . But sometimes the silver lining is if your in a great city with a broken airplane you can explore !

Pros

Wholly owned by AA which means we get the exact same benefits and bonuses that they get. Lots of days off per month. Awesome inflight team (at least in DFW). Really easy to swap your schedule around, even when on reserve. Brand new E175 aircrafts. Most crew members are pleasant to work with. Some destinations are really awesome hidden gems (i.e. Aspen, CO, Fort Walton Beach, FL, Montreal, Canada, etc...)

Cons

Crew Scheduling cannot maintain their employees and are always having to hire new schedulers who do not know the contract. As a crew member it's important to KNOW YOUR CONTRACT so that crew scheduling can't mess with you!
