Pros

Enjoy travel privileges on AA immediately upon completion of training. Benefits go into effect 30 days after graduation. Training is in Texas, 5-6 weeks long, with hotel and some meals provided. FA Bases are currently located at DFW, ORD, MIA and JFK/LGA.

Cons

Training is tough, some don't complete the program due to the rigorous studying and the hours you must commit to it. If you're not living in Dallas, it will be a tough time away from home, but you can do it. It is unpaid, but you get your hotel provided along with most meals. You also need to be willing to move to whatever base they assign you. Commuting is allowed, but is hard to do as it is time consuming and will tire out even the best FA.

Pros

Stable company, Fast upgrades, They are finally starting to address the horrible starting pay pilots have had to endure these last several years. Envoy so fat has the best flow through to mainline in the industry.

Cons

Poor Quality of life. The schedules are the worst in the industry. Pilots are worked to the point of exhaustion. Many are quitting just for that reason.

Pros

There are a lot if good crews to work with here. GREAT flight Benefits you can go practically anywhere. Easy training

Cons

American Airlines absolutely can care less about ENVOY. Gave all of our good flying to other carriers. Lost so many bases. Only down to two horrible bases. No growth. Nobody cares about us employees. We basically have to fend for ourselves. Nobody here is happy.
