Pros

Freedom, flight benefits, meeting new people, flexibility, plenty of off time for flight attendants to take a couple vacations per month even before vacation time kicks in, cool pilots, see new places often, good hotels to stay in, the rush of taking off in a plane as a job, no micromanagement, always in motion

Cons

Really jaded, negative FAs (Flight Attendants). You will meet a normal or awesome FA once in a while. But I can tell that most don't grow or contribute to life in general outside of the company. There is almost nothing to complain about but they just don't have enough valuable or positive things going on so they get grouchy and search for crumbs of attention through easy bickering, instead of well thought out intentional uplifting communication. Very broke mindsets. But the job is easy and fun and if it wasn't for the overwhelming negative perspectives I'd love this job and would want to stay long term. Also the pay is poverty level to start and I've heard from too many that they don't get paid enough to be exceptional to the company. Underpaying staff to the point where they have a hard time living and expecting them to serve thousands of people without feeling a little disheartened is unrealistic.

Pros

-get to fly for free nothing else

Cons

- horrible pay for the amount of work done ( load, unload, clean, wing-walk, water, lavatory) 10$!!!!!!!!! - schedule can be very painful with minimum of 5 days ( you can't have any lower than 5 days) - the management gets to choose your own hours not you, if you don't like it quiet - there is 6 month of prohibition when you get the job ( no days off, no sick days, you can't trade shift, and even if you're dying you still have to come - poor and late substance supply like uniforms - you will always be considered a part time although you may end up working more than 40 hrs a week - you always get held over 2-3 hours extra hours - they will adjust your worked hours and you may end up to be underpaid

Pros

You can fly almost free coworkers are great you get health, dental, and vision and a 401k

Cons

Management never knows what they are doing. You start out at a low wage and no matter what you do you will never make more than 15.50/hour thats the top out for agents. getting promoted to a lead agent only leads to more micromanagement and no pay, well you get 1.25 raise but thats not enough to deal with the job. Imo it should start at about 15/hour to put up with the crap you deal with on a daily basis. you will be constantly understaffed because the wage is so low noone wants to stay. you never know when your going to get off because of late planes. manager could care less about you he only thinks of himself. everything at the station is about who brown noses the best and if your not into brown nose, then they will do anything to get rid of you. flight benefits are nice but your always working, to make money your better off just selling your buddy passes to the highest bidder. if you wanna work for an airline, move to a major city and try to get on at the mainlines where you can at least make some decent money for the same crap you will have to put up with at envoy for little more than min wage.
