Its whatever you make it. Broke mindsets say its terrible, but people who contribute, grow and have purpose say its fine
Pros
Freedom, flight benefits, meeting new people, flexibility, plenty of off time for flight attendants to take a couple vacations per month even before vacation time kicks in, cool pilots, see new places often, good hotels to stay in, the rush of taking off in a plane as a job, no micromanagement, always in motion
Cons
Really jaded, negative FAs (Flight Attendants). You will meet a normal or awesome FA once in a while. But I can tell that most don't grow or contribute to life in general outside of the company. There is almost nothing to complain about but they just don't have enough valuable or positive things going on so they get grouchy and search for crumbs of attention through easy bickering, instead of well thought out intentional uplifting communication. Very broke mindsets. But the job is easy and fun and if it wasn't for the overwhelming negative perspectives I'd love this job and would want to stay long term. Also the pay is poverty level to start and I've heard from too many that they don't get paid enough to be exceptional to the company. Underpaying staff to the point where they have a hard time living and expecting them to serve thousands of people without feeling a little disheartened is unrealistic.
