Colleagues have each others backs and are there to help out other communities when in need.

Cons

Skeleton staffing at most communities. Leadership out of touch with reality on being on-site, and not having appropriate staffing to assist customers.

I really enjoyed my job at Equity! I feel like I grew so much as a leasing consultant and learned so much about the industry. I enjoyed my teammates and the company as a whole. Every time I visited the corporate office I felt welcomed, and was excited to grow with the company. If I hadn't moved to a state where Equity didn't have any properties, I'd definitely still be working for them! - Compensation - Great new hire training - Rent discount - Sense of community with co-workers and other members of the equity team

- Non flexible work schedule - Commission structure compared to the previous management company I worked for - Short staffed

Pros

Good benefits, decent pay, flexible schedule, great commission structure. Overall a good company, I just got unlucky with a terrible boss which ruined the experience.

Cons

No oversight, managers can do whatever they want. My PM paid herself thousands of dollars of commissions other employees earned and lied about it, never showed up for work, refused to talk to residents, etc.
