Ability to gain confidence needed to survive a toxic work place Opportunity for employees to utilize their basic principles of morals and ethics to challenge those (i.e. corporate) who don’t

Cons

Failure to prioritize patient welfare Disturbing degree of facility uncleanliness Enabling a dystopian like work environment subjecting employees and patients to debilitating curcumstances

Pros

The local staff at the hospitals are amazing rockstars and are basically building houses with little to no resources, help or guidance from the regional leadership.

Cons

This is this most dysfunctional and disorganized company I have ever worked for. You're expected to move mountains with no tools, no support and ridiculous deadlines. And if you don't meet corporate's expectations they get upset and call you a "bad employee". Example: projects and reports due within 48 hours on top of meeting your day-to-day job expectations. They will ask for projects but no one ever explains what exactly is needed so giving it your best is never good enough. You'll get beat down and abused until you quick so they don't have to fire you. The truly sad part is EVERYONE that works in the hospital feels this way and they are all slowly looking for new jobs and leaving.

Certainly concerning to see your feedback and what your experience seemed to be. At the national and local level we've been trying new ideas and innovations with workstreams and projects and moving them along much faster due to the pandemic and the need to change how we're doing things incredibly quickly to meet the high caseload demands based on the feedback from our people. I can understand how it can feel the way you described given how quickly things are moving and changing as we become a more agile organization. Thanks for your time and efforts while you were a part of Ethos, hope your next opportunity is a more positive experience. - Holly
