The most stressful job I have ever been in!!
Pros
My coworkers were a pleasure to work with... well some of them. The science would have been good if maybe I was working in the department/role I was actually hired for. My pay was actually pretty good. I appreciate Eurofins for giving me the opportunity to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry, which helped me make the decision that I never want to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry again.
Cons
The communication between managers for Eurofins, our client and the Employee sucks. When the client may have issues these are only brought to the Eurofins employee's manager/group lead and the message may not be relayed back to the employee. Weekend work was required, which wasn't mentioned when I was hired. I never enjoyed going into work because as a Eurofins employee I felt so disconnected from the scientific aspect, it felt like I was just a worker and not really a part of what is going on. Also, the client tries their hardest to not be involved with any lab work, leaving the majority of the work to fall on the Eurofins employees. Clients were always involved in meetings and not around for help most of the day. There also isn't any room for advancement, you can move up in Eurofins to where you may become a group leader but, you will always work for the client. The main goal is to be hired full time by the client which you find out very quickly it's rare and can take a couple years.
