Pros

My coworkers were a pleasure to work with... well some of them. The science would have been good if maybe I was working in the department/role I was actually hired for. My pay was actually pretty good. I appreciate Eurofins for giving me the opportunity to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry, which helped me make the decision that I never want to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry again.

Cons

The communication between managers for Eurofins, our client and the Employee sucks. When the client may have issues these are only brought to the Eurofins employee's manager/group lead and the message may not be relayed back to the employee. Weekend work was required, which wasn't mentioned when I was hired. I never enjoyed going into work because as a Eurofins employee I felt so disconnected from the scientific aspect, it felt like I was just a worker and not really a part of what is going on. Also, the client tries their hardest to not be involved with any lab work, leaving the majority of the work to fall on the Eurofins employees. Clients were always involved in meetings and not around for help most of the day. There also isn't any room for advancement, you can move up in Eurofins to where you may become a group leader but, you will always work for the client. The main goal is to be hired full time by the client which you find out very quickly it's rare and can take a couple years.

Pros

Don't recommend it. Not a decent place to start if you want opportunities.

Cons

Every company typically has a few problems. This one has more than just a few. Terrible management. There's very little cooperation and things are often unprofessional. New workers aren’t very welcomed and the training is quite poor. As other reviews have mentioned, local management promotes themselves and their personal connections, that’s the way they work. Merit and how you do your job doesn’t take priority and doesn't count like it should at this location. There is high turnover as a result.

Pros

There are none. It’s a job that’s it. Don’t look for this company to give you a long time career. They work you to death for very little pay. There are a lot of good employees here and they get used.

Cons

You can’t carryover any time everything is PTO so you get screwed out of a week of sick leave if you are a long time employee. Experienced people are leaving all the time and we are left with the new employees who get paid less and don’t get trained properly. The quality of work is horrible. Long hours and next to nothing for compensation. Health insurance is terrible.
