The first job I can say I honestly love

Pros

Phenomenal management. Based on reviews, I guess this is not the case for everyone at the company; I am extremely lucky to have my manager! Company culture is also the best ive seen, even though we’re remote. When I first started at the company, I was able to reach out to all the top performers and ask for some of their time to go over their best strategies. I’m not lying when I say that not one (out of the many i asked) declined to take time out of their day to connect and go over ways they have found success. I’ve been here for 7 months now and am just as grateful for this company as when I first started. I was also able to pay off all my debt that had been over my head FOR YEARS, within the first 6 months of being here. It was a ton of hard work but it’s I honestly owe the success to everyone at the company that helped me. I would honestly recommend CC to anyone. It’s been such an overwhelmingly positive experience for me and I really do hope others have the same experience as I have at this company. Forever grateful for CyberCoders, absolutely changed my life.

Cons

Low base salary is the only one I can think of. But if that’s something that really concerns you, you should really consider another profession. If you’re not motivated to put in the work to make commission, you’re not going to be happy here - or any other commission based opportunity at that.

Pros

- Great comp plan after 1-2 promotions, work from home, strong commission after promotions. If you are an experienced salesperson, you will be able to succeed. Opportunity to make good money after the learning curve.

Cons

- The starting comp plan is not that strong, and it will take 6-9 months before you ramp up and start earning commission checks. If you have little sales to no sales experience this will be a difficult role for you. There is a learning curve to sourcing/closing candidates and closing deals. The full desk recruiting industry is a 2 way sale, selling to the client and the candidate on the opportunity. Deals can fall apart for a number of reasons out of your control which ultimately will affect you financially. The metrics/goals can be daunting which can cause a stressful environment. It really depends on who your manager is and the training and effort they put into training and development. CyberCoders does not have a strong reputation in the industry so that is an objection you will have to overcome a lot. Ultimately this is a good opportunity but there is a lot of burn out in this industry.

Pros

Kitchen perks, unlimited coffee, nice desk

Cons

It’s all sales and if you don’t make numbers you’re out. You’re just a number in the game.
