The Field Trip Explainer program is an incredible program for anyone, and in particular anyone interested in going into science education. The Exploratorium really is a special place to learn science and science teaching practices.

Cons

Not many. Working in a museum can become redundant--your volition is what keeps things fresh and meaningful to visitors.
