Avoid at all costs

Pros

Good compensation and benefits package

Cons

The Express Scripts/Evernorth environment was one that I would avoid at all costs. The departments have an adversarial mindset and will go out of their way to not cooperate with each other. The worst part I noticed was stability. The majority of the team was there for a year or less. Both managers were just hired in 2023 and one of them moved on before busy season. 6-7 Managers in 18-20 months for a two manager department. The Directors put a lot on certain team members while leaving training wheels on more senior members for some reason. Directors and Managers have a tenuous grasp of the process and what they are asking employees to deal with. The highest achievers on the team worked 50+ hours to stay on target. For a role, and company, that stresses health and work-life balance, that was not the experience for anyone in the department I worked in and the departments I worked with. The entity is living off of the Cigna Group, and advertises its roles as such. Do not fall for the trap, stay at your current role and keep applying elsewhere. Find the right company, as I don't believe many who work here are happy.

Pros

This company offers a free onsite cafeteria meal as an employee appreciation once a year?, free parking?,

Cons

High turnover of employees and supervisors at Tempe . The company does not care if the elderly cannot access their information via computer; therefore elderly call in extremly upset and cannot get their medication. LOW WAGES, they badger you by coming to your desk with snacks for you to buy so you do not get up from your desk, metrics keep changing to make it difficult for employees to maintain or reach, bathrooms are always disfunctional, they do not like to hear suggestions from lower level employees and if they do give someone a chance to speak and its a good suggestion management will use the suggestion as their own, their tracking system of sending out letters is not functional which causes letters to be sent multiple times and upsetting the customers and double work for the employees; there is always a shortage of work and they will badger you to take your vacation time and when a holiday comes up and you do not have the vacation time available its the ones who have been there the longest who get to take the time off.

Pros

Pay, benefits, lots of OT

Cons

Require you to change your schedule without much notice, poor communication between employees and management, manipulation by management to make themselves look good without regard to your personal obligations, mandatory OT including weekends all hours of the day, MICROMANAGED to the point you can't leave your desk without being questioned and/or receive ramifications, and none of that is mentioned during interview. Didn't take long to realize this company is not as good as others in town.
