Benefits are average or above Time off earned is pretty good (getting to actually use that time off is difficult)

Cons

Forced employee ranking is a morale killer Work life balance is nonexistent for most areas Continuing education is only available to a few (contrary to what is said) Our team remained loyal long past when we should have run screaming Outsourcing and offshoring is hemorrhaging essential knowledge There is only lip service given to their 'core' values

Work at home ability. I can't think of any other pros

Cons

There are so many to list - Loss of benefits with the buy out (no, it wasn't a merger). Lack of recognition for a job well done (unless you're stepping on someone else). When you get rid of or lose all the good people that know anything and actually work you will be left with no talent to run the business. No training - unless it's free. Cheap cheap cheap. A world class company is allowed to spend money on nurturing it's employees and giving them tools needed.

If you like a challenge, this is the place for you. There seem to be lots of opportunities for career growth internally.

Cons

Work/life balance is severely lacking at times; It seems we are constantly being pushed to do more with less with no regard to what effect that might have on the employees themselves.
