Pros

Making healthcare accessible and affordable is something that I'm excited to get out of bed for in the morning! I've had the fortune to work for a few great organizations, but I've never seen passionate senior leadership like this - absolutely driven by the Mission. It is also exciting to see people so empowered in their roles; every one of us is enabled to make a difference!

Cons

With empowerment comes responsibility. I enjoy the high-responsibility and high-accountability environment, but it can be intimidating at first. Once you see your own results, though, it is very engaging!

Great place to grow

Pros

Lots of opportunity to take on new challenges and gain varied experience within your function. Regardless of age or tenure if you're willing to put in the work your successes are recognized and directly impact your career trajectory. Changing culture (transparency from management, casual work environment-jeans), work with the best-talented people, work that makes an impact.

Cons

Lacking a clear stance on ability to work from home on a set schedule, for example a set day each week. Very limited maternity benefit (and you must exhaust your PTO first) and no paternity benefit; however continue to offer other new benefits.

Pros

Working at home gave me the flexibility to work around my kids schedule.

Cons

Work at home pay was set up on quota rather than an hourly base and the quotas were set so that the average person had to work approximately 10 hours to get paid for 8 hours worth of work. In addition, one was not compensated for unverified work. So if you received a script that needed a follow up, that did not count towards your quota. This was 3 years ago. I hope it has changed.
