Cons

This environment is not for everyone. If you want to punch the clock, and leave it all behind, you may want to keep your regular 9-5.

PEOPLE!!! Extra Space Storage has an immense variety of people with different backgrounds and upbringings.Everyone is always willing to give a hand and share their knowledge. This in turn helps with the learning curve and provides a comfortable environment among co-workers. There are many department/group activities which help unite us even more while going through the hectic challenge of a growing company. With it's expansion there are many learning opportunities and trials to face.

Cons

There are too many accountants and few leader positions which can limit the availability to grow in the department.

- Awesome company culture - Laid back atmosphere - PTO is quite generous - Opportunity to work with people in different departments - Great job for accountants who want a good work/life balance

Cons

- Upward movement is difficult, although I feel this is offset by the fact that I've been presented with opportunities to tackle assignments that are outside the norm - Communication between departments needs improvement; the lack of communication makes work inefficient sometimes
