      Pros

      At the corporate level, employees are able to have a good work-life balance and career growth. Extra Space does a great job of having an inclusive workplace.

      Cons

      Pay and benefits are okay. There is potential career growth but pay increases are minimal. Upper management is really against remote work; depending on your team, you might be required to be in the office 4-5 days a week.

      Pros

      They take care of us at work and as a company they understand that life happens. The bonuses can be decent each month if you keep up with what youre supposed to do. A regular schedule so you can have a half way decent work/life balance. The job is usually pretty straight forward and there is always something to do to keep you busy. My coworkers are great and upper management is incredibly helpful when it comes down to it.

      Cons

      Some of the biggest issues I have at my location are the people that urinate in the halls or units, leave bottles of urine around the property or in the units when they move out, and have pooped in the stair wells. The amount of stress that comes with dealing with break ins is kind of crazy sometimes. Peoples livelihoods are in these units and when stuff gets stolen, you have to he the one to let the customer know. You have to work with them even when they are angry and yelling at you blaming you for it because, "Its your job to protect their stuff" and etc etc.. just incredibly stressful despite having good back up with the team.
