Pros

In the field, a decent work/life balance. Every Sunday off and one Saturday a month. 9:30-6 weekdays, 9-5:30 Saturdays. Benefits are fantastic. They promote from within often. Monthly bonuses based on rentals, not any of the metrics attached to them. Mileage and travel time if you have to travel further than your home store. Some stores have the opportunity to allow you to live on site at a reduced wage but no monthly rent (unless you opt into their renter's insurance, then there's a small monthly fee). They do have opportunities for recognition, bonuses, and prizes. The company's culture is very progressive -- I attended a town hall in person with the CEO and other executives and they heard us out. Very cool stuff.

Cons

Training and onboarding needs a lot of help. I think during interviewing it's also not explained well what's expected of you, so there's a lot of turnover. That affects you by having to work alone a lot, being pulled to a lot of different stores (if you're an assistant), and everyone there to help you being stretched thin. PTO is the only time off you have and you accrue it per pay period. There's no separate sick or personal time. Because laws in each state vary, learning the auction process will go through your team leads and other managers. This can be confusing and difficult, and there's no official training from the company beyond basic functions in our systems we use because every state is different. There's a lot of disconnect between the corporate office, field, and call center. The work can be very taxing -- emotionally, physically, and mentally. You handle rentals, cleaning, basic maintenance, coordinating with vendors, customer service, collections, and facilitating auctions of foreclosed units. Juggling the phone, in person customers, and all of your other responsibilities is a lot, and although pay has gotten better, it's still not quite worth all the hassle. Working at the corporate level usually means being open to relocation and having a bachelor's degree at minimum.

Pros

No micro management. High industry standard salary.

More internal promotions needed for senior managerial positions.
