When our company makes profit, they hand out bonuses to ALL employees. Get the important, major holidays off. Sundays are always an off day. Everyone that works here is a team player, helpful and nice. The pay is pretty good for what we do. Also, if your an live on site manager like me, you get a free apartment BUT you get a small pay cut. Every year you get a increase in pay. When the head of the division or your DM comes to visit your store, they send you and whoever is there your working with, a gift card.

One of my favorite things about this company is that they only promote from within. There is so much opportunity for growth here. Another thing is this company has your back 100%. I've worked jobs where the customer is always right. Here, we want to leave the customer happy, but not at a risk to you. My leadership team here is so understanding and empathetic to both employee's and customers and makes the best decisions based on that. I truly, truly, feel valued as an employee working with Extra Space Storage. From my direct leadership team, up to the DVP and higher. Last year, the company did GREAT, and you know what they did? They gave every single employee a 5% raise. That is HUGE! I've never worked for a company that gave that out to the employees! Plus a few weeks ago, because gas prices have gone up so high, they gave everyone an extra $250 in their paycheck. That was in ADDITION to our normal bonus's we get each month. This is an amazing company to work for.
