The development teams are given autonomy to choose the right technology and to pivot and evolve as needed. This leads to exciting opportunities to work on things like cloud-native architecture, Kafka streaming, IoT, new frameworks and CI/CD tools, etc. These career growth opportunities, along with great people and an exceptional work/life balance, are reasons many of our engineers cite for loving their job. IT also offers a well thought-out career guide and a technical career track that parallels the management track.
Cons
We've been playing catchup with competitive pay, but many companies are in the same boat. I'm confident we're committed and moving in the right direction.
