      Pros

      Work life balance Incentives, Awards, Bonuses on top of regular pay Recognition between coworkers make it a fun day Impressive uniform allowance shoes and shirts and other merch annually Plenty of growth opportunities, diverse management team and opportunities. Recession proof industry

      days are usually either very hectic or very slow Sometimes have to work outside in bad weather if a customer comes in

      Pros

      Helping bring on new storage was great. Loved working with our district managers and third-party owners. Also, our third-party management team was awesome and understanding.

      poor management low pay poor work-life balance old school poor boundaries failed to protect identity when needed seemed to be to under the wrong department- worked for ops when most of our work came from third-party mgmt unequal titles and workload

      Pros

      Diverse fast past results driven capital planning. A strong focus on understanding their employees and for their employees to understand themselves. This helps to create a more proactive and empathetic environment. They are focusing on building a diverse group of leaders and I’ve noticed an increase in woman being promoted. If there is an emergency in storage, it’s a true emergency. When I was there 90% of the workload was planned capital projects. Break/fix, add-hoc daily issues were lead my the operations team. The capital project clock/budget resets annually. Meaning your deadline for completion is November, including billing. Other departments are friendly and helpful. Company truck is provided.

      Cons

      Primarily office forward and has not embraced a remote culture. Depending on your DVP it could be a hybrid environment. Driving to a division office when no one is there is not time efficient and can impact work/life balance. Changes in bonus structure. Starts with 2wks vs. 3wks vacation. No employer is perfect. It’s about finding a place that you can bring value to the table and a role that you’re passionate about. With all that said, I’d work for them again and recommend that you apply.
