Pros

There are no pros to working at FMG Suite.

Cons

I’ll start by saying they will promote anyone to manager, just for being a hard worker. Many of the managers were good in their respective roles before, but lack management skills. I felt that he (my boss) had a lack of transparency with me, as well as very obviously favoring (my one teammate) over me. He would cancel and reschedule our weekly 1:1s every week with no explanation, but still kept his time with (coworker) He would tell me I had "customer complaints", but would not show me or tell me what the complaints were so I had no opportunity to correct my course and improve, despite me asking him. I was never told that I was on a probationary period until the day that I was fired. Thus, also not giving me an opportunity to course correct and ask what I could do better so that I could no longer be in the probationary period. Additionally, when I approached (VP of professional services) with my concerns regarding what was happening with (my boss) to try to clear things up, I was brushed off and told that no matter what, I should "always fear for my job". What a terrible thing to instill in your employees, to always fear for your job. You should always want to grow and improve but FMG Suite does not see that as a value. I was always expected to respond to client emails outside of working hours, but never compensated for that time as overtime was not approved. Reporting anything to HR will accomplish nothing at FMG Suite. Don’t expect to be treated fairly if you are not a white straight male. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Pros

THE PEOPLE. This place attracts and (somehow) maintains really awesome people. They are self-motivated, they are empathetic, they are hard-working, they are fun, and they are smart. Every other Friday off. Remote-first.

Cons

Under-resourced. Over-worked. Under-paid. We keep getting told it will get better ("we'll get more resources!") and that keeps not happening. We are stretched as thin as possible, which is incredibly stressful *and* sets us up to disappoint and look like fools in front of our colleagues. Roles and departments are created with aspirational (AKA impossible) responsibilities, creating unrealistic and unclear expectations around job duties. We're not set up to succeed at our jobs and, like I said above, we are self-motivated, hard-working people who want nothing more than to succeed and contribute. Lastly: the pay is poor. Embarrassing, really. But those Fridays off, oh my!

Well shoot, this one hurts. We always appreciate feedback and if you're comfortable I'd love more details to see if we can help anywhere - feeling stretched thin and looking like a fool is no fun! Feel free to email me directly or anonymously if you prefer. Investing in our culture is important to us - swag, social /networking opportunities, company & team events, employee benefits, promoting internally, flexible & remote work schedules, etc - any way that we can make coming to work fun - is important to us and we will continue to invest in our culture. Pay is also important to us with a great deal of time devoted towards putting together the best compensation package we can provide to our employees - it too will continue to be a priority. Lastly, I would adamantly agree - the people of FMG are awesome! I love coming to work because of who I get to work with!

Pros

I'm going to break this down into buckets because I absolutely love this place and want to share my experience and what I have heard from others as clearly as possible. People: Passionate individuals, caring and collaborative, fun with great work ethics, absolutely team players. and getting more and more diverse as we grow which is so great! Leadership: Smart, knowledgeable, caring, driven, fun and passionate. There isn't a C-level or VP-level that is not approachable and easy to communicate and work with. Management: There is a lot of internal promotions and so naturally management is filled with the same type of passionate, caring, team players, hard working, and fun people. Product/Services: Superior in the marketplace. Loved in the marketplace. It's really cool to be a part of a company with meaningful and winning products and services. The industry: Really cool to know that we are helping professionals who are doing great things for America through their own services they render. Benefits & Compensation: Competitive and they are creative. They adjust as they listen to input from folks across the company. For example, their 9-80 work schedule.

Cons

They are working on these but definitely have room to grow here: -Keep promoting and hiring diversity (huge improvements made here over the last couple years but still have work to do). -Strengthen managers with management training -A lot is expected from every position and sometimes it feels they push their people too hard.
