Pros

flexibility, autonomy, working with great SLP OT and PTs. Some regions are better to work in than others.

Cons

Different regions have very different management styles and management is only concerned with their therapists making quota. The culture is very "cult-like". The "Tim Tour" that is held in each region annually is just propaganda for the "cult" and is an unpaid 3 hours of listening to how great Tim is and all of the great things he is doing for us. While the company did introduce a 401K match last year, the benefits were very costly. Tim himself has a huge ego and requires everyone to virtually bow down to him (I was actually told to stand for him when he entered the room). There are also not many opportunities for growth, and there is a lot of bias for choosing who moves up. Having to work with other companies when providing med A services was extremely time consuming and required a lot of extra work that was unpaid. Also, all meetings are unpaid and often go > 2 hours. There is a lot of extra work that is required of you each week that is unpaid ie- assisted living meetings and extra paperwork, traveling time is not reimbursed.

Happy to hear that you appreciate the flexibility, autonomy, and quality clinicians you work with! Management certainly has a focus on clinicians reaching their weekly caseload as that directs which areas they need to focus on improving referrals. To improve referrals our sales team contacts or visits primary care physicians to share with them the services we provide. This allows us to help the geriatric patients that need it and keep our clinicians in a smaller treatment territory. Tim Tours are certainly large events that include food and entertainment. We find it important to have events like this because clinicians do not get together with coworkers as often as they would in other treatment settings. These serve as cultural events that help us feel connected with our coworkers. We are very fortunate that our benefits have very minimially increased in price in the past 4 years. With the challenges Medicare reimbursement rates are constantly facing we are excited that our employees' insurance costs have not greatly increased. FOX does provide part A services under when contracted by our Part A partners. Many times, this partnership occurs within Assisted Living Facility buildings as the goal continues to be to keep clinicians in as small of a treatment area as possible. Many of the individuals in management roles as FOX began as full time treating clinicians. This helps us to keep the practice culture that has allowed FOX to grow and expand. We always aim to maintain that culture.

Pros

Flexibility (kind of); decent EMR system (when it works efficiently);

Cons

Team meetings (unpaid and can be up to 3 hrs long with travel); benefits (high deductibles or high biweekly payment-I guess this is pretty standard anymore, but thy may be able to do better); PTO policy (poor during weather conditions, patient cancellations, etc.- days get deducted from paycheck or you have to work weekends); paperwork (yes it's conputerized, but due to the extensive outages, poor wifi, and slow program, much is done at home); orientation (it's nice they bring EVERYONE to the home office for 2 full days BUT my gosh... the money spent could go towards our PTO policy, benefits or something else. In this day and age, remote or local trainings should be conducted. Driving (it is part of the job, but so many drive all day long, while others stay in 1-2 buildings-making the same money for A LOT less work time and more of an ability to make overtime. Orange Kool Aid (people joke about " drinking the orange kool Aid" but it's not funny. Certain things and aspects of the company do feel very pushed and "cult like".

A big part of our culture is communication. So, we thank you for writing this review. We’re driven to constantly offer every member of our team more. In 2017 for instance, we began offering a 401k match. We try to ensure our practice runs as efficiently as possible, whether technologically or in the in the field. If you would be willing, please give us a call and go into further with our HR department by calling 877-407-3422. In regards to scheduling, FOX is a professional private practice that values autonomy. For that reason, we have embraced a flexible schedule that allows client visits to be made up on weekends or even further down the line within another week. We also allow the accrual of time to provide further flexibility when challenging circumstances occur. In our experience, this system has allowed our clinicians to successfully manage a work/life balance that suits their needs. Liam McKenna and the FOX Rehabilitation team

Pros

I have none what so ever

Cons

Fox expects you to maintain your quota even when they can't provide you with enough clients to do so. They make many empty promises.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Unfortunately, there appears to be a lack of the full story, as we salary our clinicians and do not penalize them if the do not meet their quota expectations due to a low caseload of community referrals. Our clinicians are the heart and soul of our practice. Thank you for your 3+ years of service, and we wish you all the best in your career.
