      Culture is not the best

      Pros

      FPI managed a lot of properties in the area, so you had some room for growth and opportunity.

      Cons

      I worked for FPI Management for a few years and found the employee culture to be non-existent. It was mostly an environment of work overtime and party or drink or you’re not considered cool. Very odd environment, it felt more like Highschool. There were a couple corporate associates who cared and put effort into making lower associates feel welcome and supported.

      Large Employer with a small Family Approach

      Pros

      In my 30-plus year property management career I've had the opportunity to work for both small and large, national companies. I've seen firsthand the benefits and shortcomings of both. Of course, we all know that our own experience at any given company has a lot to do with your inner circle and how well-connected you feel, are your contributions recognized and appreciated. I can honestly say that my experience at FPI for the last 12 years has been overwhelmingly positive and enjoyable. I do feel like my group is an extension of my family.

      Cons

      We have been blessed with lots of organic growth, this does stretch our capacity in certain regions. As we absorb new portfolios, we all feel the pinch or growing pains.
