High demands, little recognition for a job well done Often hire employees based on good looks, not skills or knowledge Regional manager will throw you under the bus to save herself instead of taking responsibility for her own mistakes Upper management will do nothing if you are being treated poorly at work Regional manager will often side with residents instead of hearing both sides and all details This site shows salaries as being very high for Community Director; a more realistic wage is $20/hr Employees report that their Regional manager is too negative and makes them feel like they will lose their job if they don't have their occupancy at 95% or higher year round.

Prayer Requests, Nepotism & Double Standards

Pros

Insurance is free. Nice work space. Good training materials.

Cons

Company CEO and sends weekly religious emails. Staff is encouraged to broadcast prayer requests. Benefits claimed to be company wide are only given to some. Nepotism is high. Antiquated dress code. No raises except cost of living.

Assistant community director

Pros

Just one, built a good relationship and mentor with my first Community Director.

Cons

Severe lack of training, as a Assistant Community Director at 3 different properties. Each can create their own policies this opens alot of confusion on what is acceptable. Many Fair Housing practices and ethics are daily crossed. All 3 properties FPI under staffs for the amount of residents and workload.
