      Difficult to maintain positive outlook

      Pros

      Work/life balance is good. The current group that I work with is good and the training that I have and can obtain has been a plus.

      Cons

      No pay raise in 4 years due to no increase in cost of living according to Department of Labor. Lack of communication with senior management since they are located offsite. Furloughed employee in October while the government was shut down.

      Pros

      The pay was excellent, the location was excellent, the benefits was good.

      Cons

      As a FSA employee, the employers are disconnected from their employees, concerns are not addressed, FSA is more concerned about money/growth, not the employee.The sick leave is horrible if you have a family, there is no growth in this company once you max out your cap, that is it.

      Pros

      Working for the federal government and potentially getting a fed job in the process

      Cons

      They don't pay much at all. If you get an offer, remember to negotiate because they will try to offer you as little as possible. You won't be getting any raises either so make sure you happy with your salary. Even though they offer the ability to potentially change positions within the company, don't expect that to happen either. If you have a job that requires travel, you will not enjoy the procedure of getting your money reimbursed. The current contract doesn't offer telework so enjoy having to use vacation time when the government closes due to weather.
