for what it is, FCC offer psychiatrists good flexibility and independence in their practice, control of their schedule, and has decent benefits.

Pros

High incentives, benefits, and bonus potential — if you can tolerate the pressure and ethical discomfort. Fast-paced environment may appeal to those who are highly driven or early in their careers. TMS technology and clinical exposure can be interesting — if used appropriately.

Cons

Profit-driven culture where TMS is over-prioritized due to revenue, not clinical need. Providers who don’t meet TMS referral “expectations” are marginalized or pushed out. Patients not enrolled in TMS receive rushed, inconsistent care — continuity is nonexistent. Extremely high turnover — patients often see 4–5 different providers in a single year. Toxic work environment marked by favoritism, lack of support, and fear-based management. Leadership turns a blind eye to unethical behavior — including documented HIPAA violations, targeting of staff, and inappropriate workplace conduct. Concerns are buried, not addressed. Staff burnout is the norm, not the exception.
