      Pros

      -- The people in the Amsterdam make coming to work a joy -- There are endless opportunities to grow and learn more about FareHarbor -- The management cares about employees and their work success -- The office culture fosters collaboration and teamwork Although FareHarbor is not really a start-up anymore, it still feels like one. The CEO Lawrence is often in the office and is very easygoing and easy to chat with over a cup of tea or during office events. The culture is the main reason why I love the job so much.

      Cons

      -- There are so many languages spoken in the Amsterdam office but not enough help and support in all those languages (especially within the database) -- Lack of proactive processes for growth

We are constantly working to foster a culture in which employees feel comfortable and supported! In 2019 we prioritized getting more languages on board to support all of our clients and even out the workload for the support teams. Last year we also tackled restructuring our annual review cycle, setting expected time frames for managers to carry out one to one meetings, check-ins, and formal reviews to assess employee performance and career progression.       + Diverse workforce + Employees are encouraged to give open and honest feedback (culture surveys, submitting ideas online via a company intranet, directly to your supervisor/manager, etc.) + Being part of an organization in the Tours and Activity industry that embraces a fun and laid back vibe + Opportunity to grow in the organization, especially when indicating that you want to do just that + Our software is an amazing product that is truly the best in the industry and is constantly adding new features

      Cons

      - Working at an organization that is scaling up quickly leaves some processes in a constant state of flux. However, this is also an opportunity to make contributions to the company that will help it grow and improve - Shifting locations within an office can be tough to adjust to, but this is because we are growing so much. Looking forward to a permanent home
