Pros

The vibe around this place is the best! The people are super cool, beyond welcoming and friendly when you're new, and despite the fact that everyone is very obviously fun-loving and doesn't take themselves too seriously, everybody is on the same page about the fact that we are all here to crush it and keep building this business up and satisfying our clients. It's fast-paced and fast-growing, but no one forgets the importance of having a life balance, and no one wants you to either. It is a perfect balance. Overall great place to work

Cons

None so far, it's great!

Pros

Awesome work environment and great co-workers. Working with activity companies who also have a similar mentality to everyone at the office also makes putting in 40 hours easy!

Cons

Work life balance could be a bit better you can expect to have take home and weekend work

Pros

- Great Product. FareHarbor easily dominates the marketplace. It's really exciting to celebrate the non-stop wins with the entire team. - The company is filled with a great group of people who work their butts off to deliver an exceptional experience to clients. - This company will give a junior employee more responsibility and experience than most others would. If you hang around long enough you will most certainly get a "Senior" or "Enterprise" title. - The Booking.com acquisition is extremely exciting. The founders will most likely exit within the next couple of years making way for experienced management to come in and run this company the right way.

Cons

- Your manager has most likely never worked outside of FareHarbor. They've risen through the ranks because they were lucky enough to be an early hire, regardless of their professional experience or acumen. - Flexible work options are not available. Management does not trust their employees enough to allow them to work from home or complete their work on their own time. The general assumption is that if you're not at your desk you can't complete your work. - Below market salary. The executive leadership team believes that perks don't equal culture. While this is mostly true, they've somehow included a fair salary in the list of benefits that they won't extend to their employees. They would rather hire multiple entry-level employees instead of bringing in experienced thought leaders. - Inexperience at the management level is hurting the company. Employee's are regularly promoted to positions outside of their experience and quickly demoted again. "Senior" titles mean less and less once everyone has one. - Unprofessional relationships at the senior management level create an awkward working environment. - The commissions that the sales team receives are a closely guarded secret. The sales team is earning recurring commissions for deals that closed months ago while Support/AM/Onboarding teams are struggling to make a livable wage.

Thank you for sharing your experience with FareHarbor on Glassdoor! You're absolutely right - this is quite an exciting time, and that's all thanks to our incredible team and amazing product. As a rapidly growing company, there are going to be growing pains. We've built out our people team which has been wonderful, so the cons you've addressed have been either handled or in the middle of handling. We wish you all the best and thank you again!
