Pros

Your co-workers. For the most part, everyone has a great team dynamic and does their best to help others out. The health benefits, amazing dental, eye, and medical benefits. Great coverage with Aetna. For some people, the 4 10's are also a pro (only on Support).

Cons

On Support you work 10 hours days in an unset schedule, every other team gets a set 9-5 (and you best not bother them a minute after 5!). Only on Support do you work holidays and weekends. Offices in other countries also don't work holidays and weekends, even on Support. So Denver is left picking up the pieces 24/7. Support is the lowest-paid team in the company and they are treated like it in terms of respect. All the grunt work and no inclusion in the rest of the company. We cannot go to client-facing events but are expected to solve tickets sent to us by less qualified employees on other teams who are paid a higher rate. Management does not hear you at all, you voice opinions and nothing ever comes of it, sometimes not even a verbal response. Upper management is so uninvolved it is useless to go to them. Every once in a while they post a completely unhelpful thought in Slack so you remember they are alive. Every team is miserable, you hear it all around. Everyone wants to quit but cannot find another job in the pandemic. They focus only on numbers and not quality, who cares what you give and do, if your numbers are low you are nothing. This does not motivate people to do better, it drives them to do worse. There is no consequence for those with low numbers other than a slap on the wrist either so what is the point in trying to hit your goals? Several multilingual employees with no additional pay for this knowledge. They are expected to help when needed and also work on English tickets. They are possibly more undervalued than the regular support agent. The raise structure is a joke. You can only get it annually and the average raise is 1% to 2%, which does not even cover inflation. Absolutely no room for growth. You are hired on being told this is a growing company with a lot of room for growth. That is a complete lie, even when you can move to another team (pre-COVID) you would be halted because of the lack of employees on Support. So they stifle their own employees because they cannot find people desperate enough to take this low of pay. There is a reason people only leave Support, nobody is clawing to join!

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review - we want to emphasize that we take all feedback seriously and your voice is heard. First off, we are happy to hear that you’re pleased with your team & coworkers as well as the benefits we offer. There is no doubt that we have the best teammates around and, without all of you, we would not be FareHarbor. We’re sorry to hear the feedback that you have about being on our Support Team. We want to be very clear that we value our Support team immensely and every individual on it. We know that Support is the heart of our business and a huge reason for our clients’ successes, and we’re sorry to hear that you feel anything but appreciated. Our Support Team does work 4 days a week with 10-hour shifts, but that is something we are very transparent about from the minute a candidate begins the interview process, and having 3 days a week off is something a lot of team members value for the excellent work-life balance it provides. We have recently revamped our performance management cycle so that every employee has the opportunity to work with their manager on setting goals and then reviewing their performance based on these personal objectives paired with team and company metrics. We also recently reviewed compensation and defined our pay structure as a company in-line with the local standards for each role, which we will continue to apply and review regularly. Another newer initiative we launched is continued education for managers, ensuring they are always sharpening their skills and learning new tools to be the best leaders they can be. We want to make sure we are able to hear all of your feedback and can discuss some of the other points you made in more depth. We would very much appreciate it if you reached out to a member of the People Team to set-up a time to chat. Thank you again for your feedback.

Pros

young office, sometimes if you get lucky you get to eat the office snacks or drink a beer on a friday

Cons

everything else. this place is a mess. management is useless and a bunch of con artists. they will lie to your face and gossip behind your back. The only way to move in any upward direction is to be sleeping with or best friends with your manager. the office is small, the roof leaks, and there is no sound insulation in the call rooms. one employee got spit on by a homeless person who was outside the main office entrance. everyone is dramatically under paid, under valued and over worked.

Pros

I love everything about this company and feel so lucky to be here. I can honestly say that I love working at FareHarbor. The Denver office is young and vibrant and fun! This is like no other job that I have ever had.

Cons

We work hard--not sure this is a con because I am not complaining. We have gone through periods where we have been expected to work long hours, and it is stressful--but we are compensated for it. If you are a chronic complainer, this is probably not a fit. We are a pretty positive group.
