Pros

You are your own boss. Providing knowledge and products that will benefit your clients now and as their life needs change. Managing your own office and staff.

Cons

I was on the edge of my managers area and received almost no support/training. I felt his philosophy was develop a system and if it works "great" for everyone and if not "well, we'll get someone else". I learned a lot about insurance and I learned how not to organize your business.
