Pros

-Good work/life balance with competitive benefits. -Great colleagues who are top notch in their respective areas- we even have some influencers! -Great time to join as the culture is trending upward after some RIFs earlier in 2024. The workplace team puts a lot of effort into making the various offices fun (lunches, happy hours, outings, etc.) -Fastly customers LOVE our product and can't stop raving about us! Our customer focused events are very insightful and brings our relationship with our customers even closer together.

-Lots of cooks in the kitchen -Some questionable management in place

Pros

- Our organization is filled with brilliant individuals that are high empathy, transparent and deeply care (like family) - Work life balance (flexible time off and people actually take it and prioritize) - Leadership - very thoughtful in approach across the board, transparent, action oriented and there's a mutual respect which I've found is very rare

Cons

I've worked for some great organizations and ones that were not - this is the best company I've been a part of for many reasons. The grass is not always greener - most work environments you get pockets of light - here I feel overall suits my preferences given Fastly is a high empathy company. No cons to mention.
