Pros

Fairly good product and engineering.

Cons

Lets start at the top. One of the most socially inept CEOs I've ever seen. It's amazing that the Board allows him to represent the company. Executive staff can't make a decision to save their lives. Executives are mired in minutiae and indecision. Sales and Marketing leadership doesn't know what they are doing. The company's only sales strategy is to knock the competition and undercut them on price. Recruiting is only interested in attaining their number with no regard to culture or skill. Definite divide between the employees that have been there a while and the new ones - the "veterans" having a sense of entitlement. This place is the stereotypical hipster startup that everyone makes fun of.

Pros

Easy paycheck, cash salary is decent. If you want to coast and understand how to speak the corporate tech jargon, you should be set until for a few years until the eventual layoff

Cons

If you’re debating whether you should join this company, please take a look at the insider trading history prior to starting for the past few years. Also compare the % of float held by insiders, to the average tech company in the field. you’re essentially financing the unnecessarily bloated exec teams Aspen home by working here. Constant selling for years, followed by generous comp refreshes each quarter, for what? The C suite is a game of musical chairs, with a new Chief whatever officer for each department each quarter. These “leaders” attend a conference or two in Europe, and then take their 7 figure layoff package and ride into the sunset. I am not joking when I say there are 5 C-Level, 10 VPs and 5 “Sr.” directors for any analyst or software engineer at this company. Meanwhile if you aren’t getting an absurd refresh you’re losing 20% of stock value each year due to stock performance. This place is where talent goes to die, and is almost surely going to go bankrupt or acquired in the future. I can’t fit all of my experiences at this company into one review, but just trust me you can do better if you consider yourself a top performer.

Pros

Interesting technology and problem space, lots of smart coworkers

Cons

Leadership has completely changed since I joined. New leadership seems to be prioritizing an in-office culture (in spite of majority of company having always been remote). Perks like wellness days are looking like they'll be clawed back. TONS of pressure to "do more with less" as company closes off most hiring. They way we're hyper-fixated on margin tells me we're only getting worse. Run.
