Ferguson reviews

While I think the company is a great one to work for, corporate has lost touch with what made us the leader in the industry we are. I disagree with the people on here complaining about the long hours and focus on sales. First and foremost we are a sales organization and the managment is there just as long as sales. I do get frustrated with the sales talk and they we spend millions on a rediculous program to create customer loyalty. We are supposed to complete these webcast on stupid simple things that take hours to do on our own dime. I don't know what genius thought this up but they are an example of what is wrong with Ferguson at this time. I also do not like the bonus program. It has outlived its days.

Everything is based on sales. Never listen to their employees when they have suggestions. Think that sales numbers are more important than the people that work for them. Believe that you can do the amount of work for 20 people be yourself in the 8 hours you are given. They don't listen to anything their employees have to tell them. They also do not take care of their employees. Many employees are unhappy and have gone to them about this and they don't care. Their policy is do it or get out.
