Pros

Supportive and friendly team, Remote flexibility, Good benefits and unlimited PTO

Cons

Things were relatively steady in my department until metric requirements expanded significantly. The pressure to meet increasingly challenging performance targets created a stressful and often confusing work environment. Tools and dashboards were constantly updated, often without clear transition periods, making it hard to keep up with new processes and expectations. Fetch began incorporating AI tools heavily and made repeated assurances that this would not lead to layoffs. Unfortunately, multiple departments, including mine, experienced substantial cuts not long after. The layoffs left many employees questioning the direction and trustworthiness of leadership. The layoff process itself was abrupt. The meeting was brief, impersonal, and left me reeling. I later found out that several of my teammates were let go in a similar fashion. It felt like a sharp shift from the supportive culture we once had. There was also an increasing focus on micromanagement. Employees were expected to track their time down to the minute, and the ever-climbing metrics led to burnout for many. Constant restructuring only added to the instability. Additionally, Fetch seemed to shift away from its previous support of DEI initiatives. Earlier efforts felt genuine and inclusive, but recently, references to DEI were removed from internal materials and public messaging. This change left many, particularly LGBTQ+ employees, feeling uncertain and unsupported, especially during a time of increasing social and political tension. It was a disappointing departure from what had once felt like a more compassionate, inclusive environment.

Pros

The benefits are outstanding. It's also email based so you don't have to interact with customers directly. They have options for career development including education reimbursement provided the degree aligns with the company's job field.

Cons

Disingenuous. An employee was caught plagiarizing MANY other people's work, it was called out publically by leadership, and then that employee was promoted. They also advertise transparency but they lie when it matters and are too honest when they should pull back. We also had a company town hall where the CEO thanked us for funding his 7 week globe trotting vacation around the world. The wildest part is that none of this is an exaggeration. There's also a linear path to promotion, despite all claims to the contrary. "Making a name for yourself" isn't a guaranteed way to move around if you can't meet the ever-changing goal post that is promotion expectations.
