Pros

1) Flexible PTO 2) Ton of experience in working with modern tech stack 3) Hybrid work and great team members

Cons

1) The data/analytics engineering team is run by the leads who are recent college graduates (1-2 yrs) with no managing experience 2) The pay for as data/analytics engineer is only < $100k which is very less compared to the other competitors which this amount of tech stack experience 3) The manager/lead always asks for innovation during the 1-1 meet and says it's a red flag. What am I suppose to invent? As an engineer, I am working on multiple modern tech stack to solve the problems. If I am innovative I would have created my own product and start a company 4) The stocks are really worth less (Very less stocks are granted and the stock value) 5) No bonuses

Thanks for leaving a review and sharing your experience. Your lead's emphasis on innovation is probably grounded in our commitment to ensuring that everyone knows they're encouraged to try new ideas and bring creative solutions to the table. You don't have to come up with the next billion-dollar company for your ideas to be impactful, so I hope that you'll share innovative ideas that cross your mind for improving workflows, adding new features to the app, and getting work done more efficiently. I see that you're a current employee; I hope you'll reach out to me to share more about your experience. Rachel Olchowka, Chief People Officer

Comp Plan Needs Work

Pros

Many of the people are wonderful to work with, but there are a few bad eggs who can drag the culture down. 100% remote is a plus, with nice offices to go into if you want or for team meetings. You can tell senior leadership is trying, but there's so much to do/fix that some important things slip through the cracks.

Cons

The switch to a highly focused sales organization was necessary, but came with many bumps in the road. The biggest one is the comp plan. It's not motivating, in fact it's almost the opposite as we work so hard for so little commission. We know the goal is profitability, but you have to take care of your people on the journey, or the good ones will leave and you'll spend more hiring and training new people. Along the same lines of the org changes, there's been a lot of misunderstanding of roles. Give clear direction for each account of who should own what and help with questions along the way.

Hi, thanks for leaving a review. Navigating through change can be challenging, and there can be bumps. I'm sorry to hear there's a misunderstanding of roles; we rolled out a formal set of roles and responsibilities for the sales organization by role and seniority level to clarify, so I'm hoping that's provided some clarity for you. Agree that understanding who's responsible for what is critical to success, so I'm optimistic that the changes we've made will be positive for you and the rest of the sales team. Please reach out if you'd like to discuss any of your concerns in more detail; I'd welcome the opportunity to learn more about your experience. Rachel Olchowka, Chief People Officer
