The only good thing, is that you get paid weekly.

Cons

The cost for insurance is too much. I pay less than half for what I have now. There is no retirement matching and wasn’t any retirement until 2024. Pay has gotten better but it’s still terrible. If you have someone is doing a good job, then pay them. Don’t wait until they leave to give them more.. That shows you could have done it sooner but you didn’t care. You don’t get support from some of your HR and sometimes it’s HR and upper management that will try to prevent your advancement. When they do have good talent they don’t care if you stay or go. I didn’t feel I was appreciated and acknowledged for the time and work I put into the company.

Management was based on favoritism. The work conditions were awful. The a/c was out for months during the summer and it was extremely hot. Then during the winter the heater was out and it was freezing in the store. Pay was very low considering all the extra work expected out of everyone with not enough employees to handle all the work required to run the store.

Non management employees are nice and believe the company cares about them.

Management doesn't care about employees, specially corporate. Old equipment with limited support puts pressure on employees to work with less and deliver more than possible. record profits never benefit the cashiers or non management employees, To shed light on this, during the 1st winter freeze, all IT staff that drove around in frozen roads received was a certificate saying good job while the company had reported record sales around that time.
