Pros

It is a difficult job, but everyone there is so encouraging and they realize that everyone works at a different pace. As long as you put in the effort, then they recognize that. I have not worked here long, but it seems very clear that they want you to move up in the company and there are a lot of advancement opportunities.

Cons

So far the only down side was the training. It was great training, but it was a whole lot of info packs into only 9 days. I felt like my brain hurt when I left work. So there is a lot of on the job learning because they could never teach you everything in a classroom that you would need to know for this job.

Pros

Some of the good parts of working for Fifth Third were competitive pay, good insurance, decent customer service bonuses, 2% pay increase to cover costs of insurance

Cons

The worst part of working for Fifth Third Bank were long Saturday Hours, not very well known, small refferal bonuses.

Pros

Benefits package is very good, they give you dollars to defray the cost of your benefits.

Cons

The goals set forth are unrealistic. When asked about how they are derived, no one can answer -- when you go for help, no one addresses your concerns, essentially, you are ignored. Employee relations personnel are a joke. They are there for the company and not an advocate for the employee. If you want absolutely no work/life balance, and to be kicked daily by inadequate management staff, then apply.......if not, steer clear of this company.
