Pros

- generally everyone is pretty nice - customers love the company - no competition

Cons

- people are dropping like flies - no path to make money this year - were commissioned on ARR, but top performers aren't recognized - They don't care about reps making money, only that they follow the strict deal process - theres no net new accounts, and they arent investing in the things we can sell (ie Enterprise) making the role impossible - get promoted is a joke and the goal posts are constantly shifting - the pay isn't competitive (at all), they think they can win people over because of the brand

Pros

They pay well, provide meals & snacks in hubs.

Cons

-Inaccessible leadership, even at director & manager levels -Confusing secrecy. There are problems with the way you are doing things, but we won't tell you exactly what the problems are, we'll occasionally change what the problems are, and we won't tell you where the feedback is coming from. -Retaliatory behavior. If you complain about the wrong person, even if that person is showing blatant disrespect or even illegally harassing you, their friends in management will retaliate -Lack of organization. Projects can't get done because you can't get a consensus on getting them done. -Zero trust. You're not able to do your job unless multiple people approve every aspect. There is micromanaging at a level I've never seen before. -There is a serious communication issue. You will not get the information you need or be told where what little information you have is coming from. You will then be told that you need to communicate better.

Pros

Decent food in office daily Decent comp/benefits

Cons

The workload was overwhelming. It wasn’t about improving the work environment or creating a more efficient process. Several people complained about the workload, and nothing was done to change this. There was zero support from management, and mentally it was too much. The only thing that was consistently clear was that Figma didn’t care about its employees. There were inconsistencies with work load across multiple teams. Figma throws lots of parties and events which are great, but you feel like you are missing out or behind if you do not attend. There are many cliques that seem to be formed early on, and it may be hard to immerse yourself within that culture. It seemed as though you were able to make many small mistakes if you were a favorite, but none if you were not. Communication overall was lacking, several managers were disliked, so you had to make sure you had one who had your best interest at heart.
