Pros

The organization is going through a merger which brings opportunities for growth and development. A new culture is being implemented and skills are being reassigned or retrained where there is correlation. The future looks positive.

Cons

As part of a merger, change can be stressful as the organization is developing its identity, future strategy and new presence in the market. This is currently in progress, so this can be a good learning experience for the right individual.

Pros

- Many opportunities to learn and grow. It is what you make of it. - Very fair compensation package - The company is continuously improving and I see positive improvements on many aspects

Cons

- It is high paced for the goals we have, it isn't a place to work if you are a 9 to 5, M thru F type of person for some departments

Low morale

Pros

Being unemployed is better than a job here.

Cons

As the title says there is low morale among employees. These are people that have been there for 15+ years. One of the first things Mark Parise told employees when he took the CEO position is that he knows nothing about the screening business. Another thing he mentioned is that his job is to tell his boss when it is best to sell the companies (This company is owned by an equity firm). Good way to start off your tenure as CEO. They also give you your year end reviews then at the last minute they change the scoring system so it is hard to get any raises or bonus. The jobs are being pushed to India while the headaches are being kept in the United States. That is ok because in the next year or so there will be no more customers to cause headaches
