Pros

There is a Bank of American down stairs so you can bank before, in the middle or after lunch.

Cons

There is NO CAREER GROWTH! Pay is TERRIBLE and managers have no licenses or much of any experience in working in a dynamic sales oriented environment and or a broker/dealer (which First Allied is not.) There is no competitive advantage to this company, they are so tiny and will be swallowed quickly just for fun!. PAY is Super LOW and Benefits are TERRIBLE and high You have to pay for your own parking downtown. Skip this loser fest filled with future felons as they wil lolelt be indicted shortly for fraud!

Pros

Very few. Most people were good to work with, although many of the good employees god fed up and have moved to LPL or others.

Cons

Exempt employees should not be classified as exempt under Cal labor laws, as they do not supervise others, have input on hiring, reviews, discipline or have the duties of an exempt supervisor. Low wages for volume of work and little help from team supervisors. Outsourcing was awful. As others have written, brokers blame SD staff for India errors and offshore did not want to improve. Mgmt admitted it's mistake in going offshore but the problem was not 'fixed'. If you are not a favorite of sevice team managers or higher up you are forgotten. HR does noot care about employees only how to save a buck.
