      Exposed to many areas of IT, great for knowledge if you're just beginning into the world of IT

      Cons

      No standard training, you learn from everybody bits and pieces. They give you 2 weeks of "training" but there is no training manual.

If you truly enjoy working with people, you can really help them with everyday needs With consistent fairness, intelligence, and patience, you can help build repeat business based on appreciation and a sense of community.

      Cons

      The cult of shop manager can make or break a store. With over ten years of experience and 10 shop managers, the everyday experience can be sublime to awful. Sometimes upper management is unaware of the manager/team success of a particular store or they have ulterior motives. The medical and dental benefits are okay but not anywhere close to what the medical establishment charges. Management increasingly stingy with pay increases and honoring time off. The original family culture of operating a pawnshop (and not a retail business) has largely disappeared. The original Texas crew is sorely missed.
