Upper management doesn't care about growth of employees

Pros

Coworker were good to work with. Have nice company bbq's and giveaways. Office is nice. Plenty of parking. That's about it.

Cons

Management is horrible in Houston. Opportunities for growth are not there. Supervisors like to scream at employees, as if that helps production.

Pros

Paid well, good management. Modern equipment. Very safe. Gave advance warning of layoffs when they could. Good planning. kept work area clean. Almost always provided materials and equipment we needed. If something broke, they would replace it quickly.

Cons

They couldn't always back up employees when the customers were angry, but they tried. Like all construction jobs, people had to be let go when the job ended, but if you really wanted to stay, they would find another job for you and kept people busy except in the worst of times.
