Pros

Met some pretty cool people. Able to move up into management positions easily, as long as you put in the work! Able to learn and utilize many different skills. Experience is the best on a resume! Take advantage of it!

Cons

Pay. For sales lead (a manager position it pays only .50 more than associate, take it for the experience on your resume, that's your best bet.) Depending on location and change of staff, drama. Pay raises are non existent. Good luck. Working with highschoolers' mean a lot of call outs and others picking up the slack. Lack of communication about tasks, sales, and updates to schedules from the store manager. (Many times they would not inform the manager on duty if there was a call out. Not great especially for busier days!!) Multiple times had to work alone with no one else in the store due to store manager's lack of discipline and communication.

Pros

-Great opportunity for growth if you're a young person looking to climb the cooperate ladder and relocate to do so. -Some really great people that work here. -Pay for SM is not bad either.

Cons

-The company likes to micro manager EVERYTHING. They need to understand that what works in one store may not necessarily work in another location. Only because people are different. Markets are different as well as customers. That's what makes your stores special. Cookie cutter all that and you loose that "special". They even have a POG for the manager office... -Keep an eye on what they call a "policy". Not everything they call a policy is outlined in company documents in black-n-white as a "policy" and they will use that against you. Even use it to terminate you. -Too many tasks every week and not enough hours are given to complete all of them which forces you to pencil whip tasks in the system to stay off the "bad list". -With regards to hours, SM hours come off the top of your weekly budget. Which was odd for me to get used to. So if your budgeted 175 hours the SM and your 2 ASM take 125 hours of that off the top which leaves you only 50 hours to schedule for the rest of your team. It can get really tight at times.
