Pros

-simple work environment -a lot of down time (I've been to multiple properties and this is common) -decent 401k matching/health benefits/travel compensation Varies on location* -easy re-scheduling/pto -easy going management -a lot of optional overtime available (most of it will idle time for events) -free meals and random items/equipment -you can prioritize your freelance gigs over your actual work schedule

Cons

-pay could be better but corporate/management limits you on career promotions/raises here (unless you relocate over half the country) -middle management a bit too relaxed so you might end up overtaking your co-worker's (even management's) responsibilities -false promises from corporate -they hire from outside instead of promoting from within -tasks are easy and menial since you'll learn fast -they no longer help reward/sponsor for getting certifications -you'll hit a wall where you want to do something bigger after 2 years here
