Pros

Some good people Good business to be in - cloud technologies Good work-life balance

Cons

A llot of egos - especially from the marketing and pr side Not a lot of support provided to those in customer service Lot of money gets spent on things that aren't relevant to the business Need more training Pay isn't great for customer service, tech support -- areas that are front-facing to customers (Need to treat these people a lot better.) Little opportunity for career growth

Thank you for giving feedback. I am glad you found a good work-life balance during your time with Peak 10. With regard to our marketing function, we are in the process of investing substantially in new tools and collateral to better enable our sales force as part of our 2017 Go To Market strategy. Also, we will continue to invest in our training program going forward. The newest program (which will be formally launched in 2017) is our "Tech Trek" focused largely on skillsets for our technical support team!

Pros

Peak 10 is a great place to work! There are lots of pros to working here - good pay, great manager, family-like culture, benefits are solid, unlimited PTO, charity and volunteer work, and the work/life balance is good. Peak 10 is a fantastic place to grow and develop. My manager invests the time and energy to not only manage me, but to teach and grow me. I may not always be at Peak 10, but I'll certainly be better for having worked here.

Cons

Are there cons? Sure! Every place has them. The benefits are slightly higher in price than some companies (mostly huge companies), tuition assistance is somewhat limited (but it's still a plus compared to other places I've worked). Being that Peak 10 is a smaller company, career opportunities are somewhat limited, but moving to a company with a plethora of career opportunities would mean going to a large corporation - been there, done that, not interested. Communication isn't always smooth and free-flowing, but I've yet to work somewhere that communication isn't at least a minor issue - it always is. Overall, the cons are things that you'll here people talk about for a couple of reasons, 1.) cons are the things people want to fix or want fixed so you have to talk about them, 2.) people tend to talk less about all the good things a company has going on. So, like I said before, there are cons at Peak 10 just like everywhere else. Nothing major, and they certainly don't outweigh all the positives. Peak 10 is awesome!

Thanks for your feedback! We take pride in Peak 10's values-based company culture and are very proud that we have a strong focus on giving back to the community. We work hard to focus on high employee engagement. At the end of the day, we know happy employees make for a fun, happier and more productive workplace. We also know that happy employees serve our customer base better. We do acknowledge that while we have alot of great things going for us, there is always room to improve. I hope you find we are communicating more frequently (and less via email) and about things that are relevant and "matter". Also, we are committed to offering the best workplace we can with great benefits.
