- Pay increases are weak, and pay does not match its competitors. About $20,000 less - Work schedule changes way too much - The better you do, the more work you get. Leads to less days off. You get to work more and more while your co-workers get 5 more days off and less hours worked for being weak at their job. Some employees also refuse duties that others are required to do. They threaten to quit if they're made to do it (mostly the older gents who already have a nice pension rolling). I can't stress this point enough. The job would be soooooo much better, if the managers kept the schedules fair and equal. This is probably the number 1 reason that will cause me to leave. It's really a shame. - The reasons listed above lead them to hire and retaining some, not all of course, incompetent and lazier people who end up getting to do less than you. Have to love the fairness!!

Most of the work is done with "tribal knowledge" which means that no one cares enough to fix problems that they might have... they just work around it. When those people leave, who will know what to do?? The Old Timers don't really care anymore, they are just waiting it out until retirement. The company has spit for profit sharing (1% of one paycheck) and they discontinued the Pension Plan, so the attitudes of the workers has deteriorated.
