Pros
It is a great feeling to know that every single day you go to work you are part of something bigger than yourself. Flock Safety is a company with a mission to eliminate non-violent crime (and help in a massive amount of violent cases as well) and I dare say they are well on the way. The reason I joined the Flock Safety team is I saw the effective yet very affordable products they offer making a quantifiable difference in my community. Now that I am part of the team, I am more assured than ever that I made the right decision. Upper level leadership is accessible and genuinely wants to hear your thoughts and ideas. With COVID throwing a wrench into just about everything, it is great to see surveys and be asked by my team how I am doing. With as fast as the pace is around this company it would be very easy for them to overlook the hardships that come with being isolated.
Cons
It's not really a con, just a growing pain of a start up: things will be different by the time you log on your computer tomorrow.
