      Good at first, Goes Downhill after switching IL's several times

      Pros

      The philosophy is great, but its actions don't support its philosophy. Getting to work with students in an online setting-really getting to know them

      Cons

      Credit, credit, credit-that's what it is all about Does not subscribe to its philosophy Instructional Leaders have their favorites Many ILs are arrogant and do not care about their teachers Student is not the focus anymore

      Pros

      Very Few but with a few good hires in senior management things can turn around quick

      Cons

      The new CIO does not have a clue the last person had a timeshare background as well. Hire someone who understands learning technology and has some common sense. Anyone can look at a Gartner report and say we need to do that. A good CIO needs to have a research background or know how to see through marketing hype. Timeshare is all marketing hype so I guess the current and previous CIO's drank the Kool-Aid. Julie is well respected she just needs a better team around her.
