Pros
Flexibility for the teachers - which is also a con as many take advantage.
Cons
Too many to list - poor curriculum and curriculum department (their attitudes are ridiculous), teachers have no input on the curriculum or tests yet are rated based on test scores, no consistency in or maximum class sizes within or across teams so some are way overburdened and some have a light load, no incentive for good performance as minimum performance is acceptable, minimal use of best practices in online teaching and learning - just keeps doing the same things despite changes in student demographics or needs (i.e. large increase in home school kids who aren’t really being home schooled, just taking FLVS classes with no direction or plan), could be a leader in online education but just rests on their laurels.
