      Pros

      When you start here you are immediately in the family so to speak. It’s such a warm and loving environment! The Executives (and managers!) work so hard to make sure that you know your job through and through and that you love what you do! This is Definitely a career job and what I mean by that is you can 100% make this your career and not just another job.

      Cons

      I cannot think really of any! Just like any job there are better days than others but what is important is that you don’t stress about what you can’t change! Learn to roll with the punches!

      Good pay, always new opportunities, meet lots of new people, good benefits , good culture

      Cons

      Too much work for one person, managers always seem to never be at work when you need them, very stressful and demanding,

We strive to create a company that is more than just a paycheck and believe we have created a company culture where our team members can grow personally and professionally. At Fortera, our members are our number one focus and we do everything in our power to give them a great experience each time they visit a branch or give us a call. Fortera’s management team works hard every day to serve both our members and our team members and sometimes that means being out of a branch on business development activities or attending a training course. We understand that this can be stressful for some team members, and in these circumstances, we look to our very capable Assistant Branch Management team to assist staff.

      Pros

      Great benefits. Lots of opportunities for advancement. Understanding, for the most part, when you have an emergency to take care of. Able to plan vacation days far in advance with almost no chance of those plans having to cancel. Employees who work there are great! You can make some very good friends here! Wide selection of responsibilities based on your personal interest and skills. Definitely a great job if you love helping out people. You get a lot of opportunities to make a difference in someone's life everyday. Many skills you can learn here to either build a career here or to take with you to your dream job. Products offer are something you can definitely stand behind and feel proud to offer your members. Ability to build a close relationship to the members (It's awesome when they only want to see you).

      Cons

      You have to take this job with the understanding that if someone in management doesn't like you for any reason, they will do anything they can to get you to quit. You have to be a "Yes" man. Not a "Why? That doesn't make sense" man. When I worked there, I was accused of doing things that were far from the truth and I wasn't allowed to defend myself. I was told anything I had to say would just be malicious and I should just stay silent. When I was let go, I wasn't allowed to defend myself against the allegations for my termination. I tried to tell them that what they said happened is not what happened, and they told me I was wrong. They have a way of twisting your words and disregarding evidence.
