Pros

This is my first "big kid" job after college and I am glad that I decided to join the Fortera family. I did not have a lot of experience and my department has been amazing about answering my questions and taking the time to actually make sure that I understand why we are doing something. From what I have seen, Fortera and my department especially, they are focused on my professional and personal development. From what I have seen, everyone in the company is extremely nice and they seem happy to be at work, which is very different from some of the other jobs I have had.

Cons

I haven't met a lot of the other branch employees, but I believe that will change the longer I am with Fortera.

The credit union has changed so much in the past two years. They are investing in technology and products for members and the employee benefits are better than I have ever had.

Cons

Things are changing so quickly it can stress people out at times. We have a lot of projects going on right now and there doesn't seem to be enough people to help do it all.

Excellent benefits! Good incentive plan for branch associates. The company afforded me the opportunity to grow within the organization. I was given the opportunity to serve on a plethora of committees, projects and teams which gave me the necessary exposure to learn multiple areas of the organization. Executives took a personal interest in my advancement and I remain grateful even after having left the company. Would consider employment with them again.

Cons

Base salary could have been more competitive.
